Bionic System Solutions (BSS) has today announced the appointment of Benjamin S. Jacobsen as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective 1 September 2026. The appointment marks a decisive step in BSS' evolution into a commercially mature organisation delivering sustained revenue growth.

Benjamin S. Jacobsen brings extemsive experience in executive leadership, operations, and business development. He most recently served as Director at Lidl with previous execeutve leadership roles, and prior to that spent 10 years in the Danish Defence.

As BSS’ new COO, Benjamin assumes charge for driving BSS' business performance, operational excellence, and organisational development across the company. Benjamin, therevby, joins the leadership team at a decisive moment, as BSS cements its transition into a scaling, profitable company.

The appointment comes as BSS earlier this year reported strong financial momentum as gross profit grew by approximately 40% from 2024 to 2025. In this context, the company has effectively transitioned from a purely R&D-focused organisation to one generating consistent revenue and profit.
